Brooklyn Brownstone

Bedford Stuyvesant Neighborhood, Brooklyn, NY
FEATURED IN Architectural Digest

This upper-floor renovation of an 1899 brownstone in Bed-Stuy put the emphasis on livability for a family of four. While original features—ornate moldings, exposed radiators—were left intact, practical innovations included relocating the kitchen to the rear, punching openings into the back wall for more light, and converting an unused landing into a swanky TV lounge with custom millwork and ample seating. The interiors refresh encompassed graphic wall-coverings, statement-making light fixtures, and a mix of period furniture.
